I took these pictures of a weird thing by my house that I've been told is a sundial. I adjusted the brightness and contrast, as well as the shadow and highlights in each picture.
Interesting object, I like the composition you chose of the top image the best. However I think the background is distracting. It could be better if you could cover the grass area with a black sheet and then take a more purely abstract shot. Glad you are liking your camera, and using your blog.
